 A Message From Journey

Atlanta MarathonAs we gear up for the holiday season, there is a lot to be thankful for. First, we were recently awarded a $7,500 donation from the Atlanta Track Club for our participation

in the Adopt a Marathon Mile at the Atlanta Marathon. My Pyr friends were the hit of the marathon, and our fantastic volunteers proved to be great cheerleaders. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help! View pictures of the event here.

I also have great news to share about my Gentle Giant friends finding their forever homes.  Fifteen Pyrs were recently adopted including Klaus, Yoda, Pebbles, Ruger, Carly, Deek, Samson, Tao, Roxy, Colorado, River, Duke, Tiny, Cleo and Ceaser! My heart thumps with joy knowing that they have found loving homes like mine.

Finally, I am extremely happy to let you all know that five Pyr puppies were recently rescued. Their information will be up soon, so please stay tuned to the available dogssection of our website. You will be able to meet them, and the rest of our available Pyrs, at one of the upcoming Adoption Days. Thanks again for all the support! Let's keep those happy tails waggin' on.

Louie is Looking for a Snuggle Buddy
If you have been wanting a snuggle buddy in your life, then look no further than Louie. This handsome boy was pulled from a North Georgia shelter and given another chance at a long, happy life. Louie loves to snuggle and simply wants to be pampered with lots of petting.

"Dogs have given us their absolute all.  We are the center of their universe.  We are the focus of their love and faith and trust.  They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made."
