Hey y’all, I’m Aster, a mature gal who found my way to GPRA with the help of some nice people over in Alabama. I’m about 6 yrs old and laid back. The humane society that was taking care of me had my hair shaved down because it was so badly matted but my coat will grow back nice and fluffy. I am extra special with 1 blue eye and 1 gold eye! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
