Hey there! I’m Barney, 1 year, 83 lb boy who shares a name with a famous purple dinosaur and a stone-age cartoon character. Since I’m definitely not purple, and I’ve never met a Flintsone, there’s probably no relation. And now that GPRA has lovingly rescued me from a shelter, I please need a family to help me get to know myself. Listening to other GPRA Pyrs, I think I’d like to try meeting other dogs, snacks, playing with people, regular meals, staying dry during the rain, and helping with anything happening in some room called the kitchen. My new friends tell me it is one of the best places ever, next to a loving and safe home of course. If you’d like to meet me, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.Apply to Adopt Contact Us
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
