Hi, I am Bella, a gorgeous female gal that is well traveled all the way from Nashville through Birmingham to find my forever home. I am a tad over 2 years old and a beauty at 92 lbs. I was originally surrendered to Adopt a Golden Nashville because my family was moving into an apartment and could not have a dog. They asked GPRA for help in placing me in the right home. Now I am enjoying life with my foster family and waiting for my “meant to be” special someone to fall in love! I love to snuggle with my family and I am especially gentle with children. I like to be the gal in charge so, if I live with other dogs, I might just let them know who’s the boss. Cats? Nope, I do not mind cats. I do great in the house and enjoy a good nap on the sofa. Who doesn’t? I am pretty good with my manners and know some of the commands. I am what you call the “prize package”. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
