Churchill
Hi, my name is Churchill. I am a very loving 1.5 – 2 yr old boy who is about 91 lbs. I was wandering all alone in the country and came across a very nice man in a uniform. He offered me treats, and a car ride to a safe place. The local county Animal Control Officer helped me get off the streets and out of danger. I am now in search for my forever home where I can enjoy long walks with the company of my human. I walk great on a leash and make people turn their heads in envy with my amazing looks. One thing that my personal walker team noticed is that I am a little bit of a klutz. I don’t pay close attention to curbs or stationary objects and sometime run into them when walking because I just like to look around and take in all the sites. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
