Hi everybody! Well as you can guess, we are both searching for a new home. We are really two wonderful gals that need to be placed together. My name is Dakota, I was rescued once before from an abusive situation by a kind person. I was so blessed to know what love can be and even happier to know what a sister was. My new family adopted me a playmate and they called her Maya. We have the best time together and will put a million smiles on your face with our personality. However, unfortunately our parent had to move out of the country and asked a friend to take care of us. Our caretakers have been really good to us but cannot keep us anymore. That is when they asked GPRA to help us find a new forever home. We are both 2 years old and know basic commands. We are cautious with strangers at first but once we get to know you, we become best of friends. We are good with kids and love to play with them in a fenced in yard area. We have both been known to jump a fence or two if left alone outside so we do prefer a home where we can share 4 walls and a roof, preferably near a kitchen. As we settle into our new foster home, we will have them share more information about us. If you can’t wait to meet up or learn more about us, contact info@greatpyratlanta.com today

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
