Hi everyone, my name is Oscar, I am 6 years old and larger than life. I am a very friendly and gentle regardless of my size. I have a few extra pounds that need to come off and the Dr. says I need a diet and some exercise so I am looking for a family that will spend time with me and help me get back into shape. You probably notice my eye looks a little different. I had a injury to my eye a few years ago and unfortunately lost my sight in this eye but that doesn’t slow me down. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
