Hi! I am the fluffy Polaa! That’s short for “Polar Bear” because I look a little like one. I am going to be 2 years old in a few months and a petite 66 lbs. I am here at GPRA because my previous family made the hard decision to help me find a new family…one that could give me more attention and the space that I deserve. I love to bounce and play with dogs and kids and even cats. In the house I am very quiet, calm and sweet and I love to hang out in my crate (that’s where I store all of my toys)! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
