Want to buy a vowel? If you don’t need a letter, how about adopting a sweet dog recently spared from a puppy mill? I’m Vanna, a 1 or 2-year-old, 65 lb. girl and I sure hope my turn at the GPRA wheel of luck brings me the ultimate prize: a furever family! I wish I could tell you awesome things about myself but all I know is I’ve never been allowed inside, haven’t had enough food and safe drinking water, and no one’s ever loved me. The good news is because I’m so young, I’ll probably learn how to be a great dog really fast. All I need is a dog-smart, empathetic, and patient leader. You maybe? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
