Hi! I am Abbey, a petite 2 yr old gal, weighing 57 lbs. I am looking for a great family to call my own. My original family wasn’t able to continue taking care of me, so GPRA was contacted and here I am! I am good with dogs and I adore kids. I am a little timid at first. It does take a little time for me to get to know new things. I’m working on getting used to all of these great new experiences! Beds! Beds are awesome and I love to share my new foster human’s bed. I even found THE best place to sleep…right under the desk at my foster human’s feet. I am getting plenty of love now and being treated like a real little princess. I have my own little stuffed buddy that I love to carry around and play with, I am house trained, I love walks and my favorite time of the day is “snuggle time.” I am learning all about how to be the best dog. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
