I’m Baloo, the 4-year-old, big boy at 110 lb Pyrenees, who’s beloved people just moved to Switzerland to care for an ill family member. All of us are very sad about saying Auf Wiedersehen but we’re sure GPRA will help me find loving dog people looking for, well, me! I’m house trained, very laid back, fine in a crate if need be, and I know basic commands. I’m also playful and like riding in the car, unless it’s to see fireworks. I do not like fireworks, or baseball caps oddly enough, and even though I’m not protective of my food, I really prefer being an only dog. That way, I get all the hugs and tummy rubs. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
