Hey! Woof! I am Poppa, they call me BIG Poppa. I am just a young pup, about 9 mths old and 80 lbs. I am really great in the house and love to play. I am with my new foster family and learning lots about hanging with other dogs, getting to know new people and just having a good time. I have already learned that I like long walks…and then a nap. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
