My name is Chief and I am a 2 year old young intelligent male. How do I know I am intelligent? Well I spent some time on my own in Alabama and was able to be found by a wonderful family who took me in and kept me safe and got me medical attention. I am in a wonderful foster home now and get to share living space with another dog and cats. I am more like a piece of Velcro. I love being with humans and getting all the attention. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
