Hi, my name is Gareth. I am a special and loving boy around the age of 7. I have a special gait that is causing some discomfort when I walk. My rear left knee cap is positioned rather odd. But that is okay, GPRA is making me all better so that I can move around without any pain or discomfort. I want my very own family who will love me and show me the love that I want to give in return. I love to take walks and enjoy being around doggie companions too. The staff that is taking care of me have nicknamed me “Harry Potter” because of the scars over my eye. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
