Ilsa
Hi, I’m Ilsa a 5 year old, 101 lb female who enjoys walks, loves being petted and brushed, and happily takes medicine wrapped in cheese. I probably wasn’t supposed to be listening but I heard my human tell GPRA I’d be a great only-dog for a single person, or a couple, maybe without kids, or kids that are older. She also said I’m well-loved, which of course I knew, and I have been afraid of bad weather (which I also knew). Then she said the sweetest thing that I didn’t know…mom told GPRA I deserve to live with a strong, very knowledgable dog-person who will patiently and firmly guide me through my insecurities to be less protective of my food, toys, and territory. I’ve been working on it and getting so much better. AND GREAT NEWS! I am no longer afraid of stairs! I am making so much progress and will be the best dog if a person might remind me of the rules when I forget.
