My foster mom says even though I’m only ten-months-old, all 62 lbs. of me is an amazing Pyr. Yep, this boy loves, loves, loves kids, grown-ups, dogs, and cats. Being outside is the best but I’m housetrained so cuddling inside is a definite “yes” as well. Walks are fun, too but sometimes I get tired quickly when my bad leg starts hurting. It’s OK, though, don’t worry about me, I have a plan. See, GPRA is taking me to special orthopedic veterinarian about maybe having surgery when I’m finished growing. My pictures look as if I’m a little unsure of things, maybe because I don’t where my future will happen. Hey, maybe it will be in your house? Maybe we can celebrate my first birthday together in a couple of months? If you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, I’ll start planning the party menu!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
