Do I look familiar? I mean other than resembling all Pyrs in general? My first GPRA name was Noelle and I’m back now because my elderly mom wants me to have a home more suited to this 4-year-old, 76 lb girl. I’m housetrained and good with adults and children, and like hanging out with my fosters on the couch. Other dogs are fine, I play with them now and then, but I bet I’d like being an only dog, too. Oh, and apparently, I’m very laid back at home and on the leash, that is until the UPS truck shows up. That big brown thing gets every bark in me!  You can leave me home alone, but you should know open doors and fence gates are very appealing. Once loose, I’m much more likely to come when a woman calls me than a man. My best new owner will be dog-smart and very patient. Do you believe in me as much as I believe in you? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
