Hi everyone, my name is Perry. I am a big boy at 128 lbs and I am 5 years old. My past is very sketchy and I would prefer to leave it there. In the short time, I have been with GPRA, I have gained the trust of 2 fabulous volunteers that keep telling me everything is going to be ok and they promise to find me my forever home. It has been a little scary in my new surrounding and every day it gets easier for me to trust again. I look forward to my daily walks and getting a few treats. Since I am still learning about all this attention and how people can really make life enjoyable, I believe I would do best in a home where I have an experienced owner who can continue to work with me and let me see the world in a whole new light. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
