I’m waiting for a foster or a furever family, but even living in a kennel is better than where I used to be! I’m Vaughan, a 2 or 3-year-old, 41 lb. guy GPRA saved from the most dreadful place. If you know about the Lamar County puppy mill, we can just leave it at that and talk about finding a great family for this Great Pyrenees. I’ve never had enough food or clean water, my first car ride was this month, and living inside will be a totally new experience. My situation may intimidate some people, but I’ve heard GPRA adopters are smart, nurturing, and understanding. I definitely need a strong leader, and perhaps another dog, to teach me how to behave when I’m safe and loved. Are you my person? Or maybe you know my person? If so, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
